Located in a quiet street our spacious two bedroom terraced house is situated minutes from the local restaurants and supermarkets. The beautiful endless beach is a 10 minute walk. Positioned at the top of a hill there are spectacular views of the sea. A white marble staircase leads to one double and one twin bedroom, a sofa bed can accommodate 2 more people in comfort. There is a good size living space, a bathroom and also a downstairs toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. ECO friendly heating panels and large ceiling fans provided for your comfort. Relax on the patio and enjoy a nice meal or drink whilst also taking in the views of the sea. Also an outside shower to cool off. The community pool is close by. Regular bus service and 'ROAD TRAIN'. Airport is a 10 minute drive away but not on a flight path. Licensed taxis are readily available at the airport or our friendly agent can meet and greet,...you choose.
The immediate area has lots of great places to eat with the very ornate Chinese restaurants particularly good value for money. There is a weekly market a minute up the road where you can buy food as well as souvenirs. The local tapas bars will give you a real taste of the Spanish way of life while the local shops can cater for all your needs. The holiday makers enjoy gathering in the local square during the evenings where there is always a friendly atmosphere and also an internet cafe. Local cafes are great for people watching! The endless beach is a 10 minute walk away and adjacent to the beach is a nature reserve edged with pine trees. It is an ideal location for runners, cyclist and swimmers alike it's wonderful to run or cycle along the coast road. Santa Pola is well worth a visit and it's here you will see the local fishermen with their catches of the day. There are good links to the surrounding areas including santa pola and alicante city. Alicante airport is a 10 minute drive

Local Area
Gran Alacant is ideally situated with shops and restaurants close to hand.
The local Tapas bars will give you a real taste of Spanish life and the local shops can supply all your needs very cheaply. The beautifully decorated Chinese restaurants are particularly good value for money Other good restaurants are just a few minutes walk away. Holiday makers enjoy gathering in the local square during the evenings where there is always a very friendly atmosphere and also an internet café should you want to catch up on those emails. Several banks are just around the corner and there is also a Pharmacy. There are also several large super markets including Lidl and Mercadona a short drive away in the Commercial Centre. Here you can enjoy a relaxing lunch during siesta time.
There is a wonderful street market on Thursdays.
A short walk down the hill will bring you to the nature reserve.
Car hire is easy to arrange although there is a regular bus service, which passes by the end of the road. The buses go to Alicante and from there it is possible to catch a bus to many different places. There is also a frequent bus service to Santa Pola, well worth a visit.
New this year is a “road train” which picks up & drops off at various places around Gran Alacant including various retaurants, shopping areas & the beach. The “train” stop is very close by.
Costa Blanca (or White Coast)
The beaches are famous throughout Europe, and largely unspoilt, stretching for miles. The soft white sands and crystal clear waters have been awarded the Blue Flag Award by the EEC. There are also salt lakes close to Torrevieja (about 30 minutes drive from Gran Alacant) which are home to a host of wild life including pink flamingos. The City of Alicante itself is very vibrant and ideal for all your shopping needs. 45 minutes drive drive north brings you to Benidorm. Here you can spend a day visiting the marine and exotic animal park or cool off at Aqualandia (the water park). Or if you wish you can spend your time visiting the many bars and shops!
Golf
There are many golf courses along the Costa Blanca. The one in Villamartin is about 45 minutes away from Gran Alacant and considered to be one of the best in Spain. There are other Golf courses even closer!
